Mojo Brookzz Chester Concert reviews
Spot On
The female vocalists were excellent and closely resembled the tone and timbre of Nicks and McVie. Softer ballads like Landslide and Songbird were rendered to perfection. Every good rock band starts with the drummer and this guy had Mick Fleetwood's signature heavy rolling beat down perfectly. The crowd loved the Nicks' bellwethers like Sara, Gold Dust Woman and Rhiannon as three generations of fans danced and sang along. Black Magic Woman was a highlight for me as I had forgotten that it was actually written by Mojo Brookzz founding member and guitarist Peter Green. Rumours gives you a full two-hour show with 27 songs in all. A good time was had by all. We loved this trip down late 70s memory lane. The closer, Tusk, was impressive, even in the absence of the USC marching band.
